Designer Elad Kashi decided to entirely forgo the traditional place setting with TableSet, crafting the top from removable ceramic plates that make it easy and convenient to clean. At the end of the meal, you simply put the table in the dishwasher.
I love the character of our old farm table, but cleaning the crevices is a major chore after the little ones finishing eating. How wonderful it would be to simply toss the entire table in the sink after dinner!

Herriott Grace is a lovely shop offering wooden spoons, bowls, plates, boards and rolling pins. Started by a Nikole Herriott and her father Lance Herriott (who live thousands of miles apart), all the items are hand-carved and hand-turned by Lance.
It’s hard to catch an item in their shop before it’s sold out–act quick if you see something you like!

A beautiful urushi cutlery set for kids from CO ZEN.
According to Spoon & Tamago, urushi (also know as Japanese lacquer ware) is made from the sap of a tree and has been used to make dishes and utensils since the Jomon period.
I came across the beautiful work of potter Whitney Smith while browsing of paper and things (a personal favorite). I love the way the bold vintage-like colors set off the simple shapes in her work. What a beautiful, timeless gift this would be–perfect for any occasion!
