Classic School Desk Revisited

Dutch design firm Wurk took a break from design­ing office fur­ni­ture to cre­ate these play­ful vari­a­tions on the clas­sic school desk. The Wurkchair turns the seat back par­al­lel to the floor, trans­form­ing it into a writ­ing slab. The idea came from the design­ers revers­ing their own chairs to write. Another vari­a­tion, Anti­lope, takes cues from a child’s wheeled toy horse.
