“The KekoKIWI toy was cre­ated to give young kiwi kids the oppor­tu­nity to own a kiwi toy that is solid in con­struc­tion and time­less in form. The toy’s visu­ally unclut­tered appear­ance is styled to fit in with con­tem­po­rary liv­ing. The form com­bines a play­ful inter­ac­tion of three basic ele­ments: a body, beak and wheels. The parts are turned from locally grown tim­bers, includ­ing beech, macro­carpa, and radi­ata pine, and fin­ished with non-toxic paint. Off-set eccen­tric wheels allow the toy to wob­ble as it is moved along.”
