Japanese architecture firm Studio Schemata created flat surfaces on these vintage school desks by pouring color epoxy on the top board, which was uneven due to deterioration and scribbling. Each desk retains its individuality, however, through the use of translucent color in the epoxy–deep points are mirrored by dense colors and shallow points by more transparent shades.
