What You Need

  • Print­able heart cake top­pers tem­plate (down­load here)
  • Bundt cake, baked or store bought
  • Meringue
  • Pink candy
  • Pow­dered sugar
  • Wooden sticks

Instruc­tions
Sprin­kle the bundt cake with pow­dered sugar. Attach the meringues to the sides of the cake with sugar paste (made from pow­dered sugar and a drop of water). Place the candy as shown. Then print out the heart tem­plate. Cut and attach the hearts to the sticks with dots of glue. Stick them in the cake. Finished!

    What a great sim­ple idea! I love the idea of dec­o­rat­ing shop bought cake because it’s eas­ier but it gives you the chance to per­son­alise some­thing. I did some­thing sim­i­lar for a friend’s unof­fi­cial engage­ment sur­prise cake a while back. It was really fun!
