What You Need

  • Printable heart cake toppers template (download here)
  • Bundt cake, baked or store bought
  • Meringue
  • Pink candy
  • Powdered sugar
  • Wooden sticks

Instructions
Sprinkle the bundt cake with powdered sugar. Attach the meringues to the sides of the cake with sugar paste (made from powdered sugar and a drop of water). Place the candy as shown. Then print out the heart template. Cut and attach the hearts to the sticks with dots of glue. Stick them in the cake. Finished!

    What a great simple idea! I love the idea of decorating shop bought cake because it’s easier but it gives you the chance to personalise something. I did something similar for a friend’s unofficial engagement surprise cake a while back. It was really fun!
