I love this sim­ple yet absolutely per­fect wooden horse from Made By Joel. The abstract forms leave room for imagination–it reminds me of the won­der­ful wooden toys cre­ated by Anto­nio Vitali in the 1950s (see ear­lier post).

    The toy has a gor­geous sim­plic­ity about it and it really is these types of toys that kids love!!! I have to GET one!!!! My son is going through a very ‘busy’ tod­dler phase where he can not sit still for more than 5 min­utes– he has a sim­i­lar mag­netic wooden toy he puts together and it enter­tains him for a good amount of time so this one is PERFECT x I have to get one if possible!
