Stephanie (a.k.a. Stephmodo) keeps a fascinating diary on her blog detailing the renovation of her 500-year-old cottage (La Maisonnette) in  Beynac-et-Cazenac, France. I have to give her major props for such a massive undertaking, which she takes in stride (and with beautiful results).
