Mister Rogers Neighborhood Trolley

Mister Rogers Neighborhood Trolley Mister Rogers Neighborhood Trolley

Yes, I was one of Mister Rogers’ neighbors, watching him hang his coat, put on his cardigan sweater, and trade his dress shoes for sneakers as he did daily for more than 30 years (I’m still dying to visit the chewing gum factory!). One of his sweaters (which were hand-knitted by his mother) actually hangs in the Smithsonian as a testament to his legacy.

While nothing may say “Mister Rogers” like a cardigan, it pales in comparison to the wonderful trolley that would whisk you away to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. It turns out that Holgate Toys actually offers a beautiful replica of the Neighborhood Trolley that was commissioned by none other than Mister Rogers himself. I would’ve died to have my own trolley when I was younger!

You can pick up a trolley of your very own for $60 at shopPBS.org.
