This super simple Father’s Day craft hits two birds with one stone: first of all, it’s perfect for coffee-loving dads but camping/outdoorsy dads will appreciate the blue enamel pattern on the mugs too!
Print the provided blue marbled pattern (or use whatever paper you already have on hand) to make a handful of these adorable mini mugs to decorate for the morning of Father’s Day! Perfect as gift toppers, table décor, or even a garland, your dad is sure to appreciate these fun little mugs. Just don’t forget to make him a real cup of coffee too! ;)
What You Need
- Printable blue marble paper template (download print 1 here, print 2 here)
- Glue stick
Use scissors to cut out two rectangles from each sheet of the blue marbled paper printable. (Each rectangle makes two mugs.) Cut the rectangle into two 2” strips and two ½” strips as shown.
Cut and discard 1” off the length of the 2” wide strip. On the ½” wide strip, cut a length 3” long and discard the rest. I tried to use the most blue part of the strip.
Roll the wide strip and glue into a tube. This is the main cup of the mug!
For the thin strip, fold a ¼” flap on each end and use the glue stick to attach this onto the bigger tube as a handle. Repeat!
