    Wagon No. 1 by Welcome

Designed by Welcome, available at IKO IKO:

“Our newest friend in the store can be your new friend, too. A ‘carry all’ on wheels, Wagon No. 1, with custom designed metal frame with full swivel axle (easy steering), classic canvas mason bag with natural leather fasteners and leash, powder coated for long lasting weather protection.

What can you not take in this? Go to the farmer’s market with it, transport stuff from room to room, take it on a picnic, store your current reading list in it. The functions are endless and the form is perfect.”

Joyride by Per Brolund is a cart construction kit for parents with children between 3 an 9 years old. No tools are necessary to assemble the kit and it can be easily disassembled for convenient flat-pack storage.

Cool idea, unfortunately just a concept at this point.

    Tonke Campers

    Tonke Campers

Tonka Campers, created by Dutch documentary filmmaker Maarten Van Soest (and named after Maarten’s daughter), offer a refreshing take on disposable travel. They are obsolete already, in the best possible way, and mature rather than date.

Eschewing the typical molded plastic and vinyl, they are hand-built in a village in the south of the Netherlands using traditional methods and materials. Rustic luxury awaits on the inside, with polished mahogany fittings, teak floors, porcelain sinks, chrome faucets and glass windows.

In as little as 15 minutes, the camper unit can be removed from the vehicle, allowing for placement in a garden as a guest cottage or inspirational workplace.
